Which Size for a Yard Job

The 10-yard, 12 by 8 by 3 feet with 1.5 tons included, is sized for landscaping debris and smaller yard cleanups, around four pickup-truck loads. For a lot clearing or a big storm cleanup, the 15-yard or the 30-yard gives more room; the 30 also comes with fourteen days on site.

Green waste is light for its bulk, so volume usually runs out before tonnage does.

What Can and Cannot Go In

Brush, limbs, branches, stumps, hedge trimmings, leaves and general landscaping debris all go in. Dirt does not: Peak refuses dirt and petroleum-contaminated soil, along with railroad ties, which often turn up when old landscape edging comes out.

If the job includes pavers, stone or concrete, ask about the dedicated brick and concrete container rather than mixing heavy material into a yard load.

Where Town Yard Collection Stops

Raleigh draws the line at five-foot limbs and refuses stumps and loose leaves at the curb. Wake Forest takes brush only loose and unbundled, under ten inches across and six feet long, and does not collect mulch, dirt, sod or wood chips. Rolesville requires one brush pile per pickup, no more than six feet high, six deep and ten long, and refuses stumps, root balls and topsoil.

Anything past those limits is exactly what a roll-off is for.

Storm Cleanup

Storm damage does not wait for a collection day, and fallen limbs are rarely cut to regulation length. A container on site lets you clear the yard in one pass while the debris is fresh, rather than stacking it by the road for weeks.

Our smaller trucks can usually reach back yards and driveways that a full-size roll-off truck cannot.

Protecting the Lawn and Driveway

Every container rides on rubber wheels and sits on pad protectors, so it can go on a driveway or a firm patch of lawn without leaving damage behind.

Tell us where the debris is and we will place the container as close to it as the ground allows.

Landscaping and Lot Clearing Projects

Landscapers and homeowners use Peak containers for bed renovations, hedge and tree removal, fence line clearing and overgrown lot cleanups. The container stays through the job, so debris goes straight in instead of into a pile that has to be handled twice.

On a larger clearing, we can swap a full container for an empty one to keep the work moving.

Where We Deliver

Peak’s service area starts in Apex and extends about 15 miles across Wake, Durham and Chatham counties, including Cary, Raleigh, Apex, Holly Springs, Fuquay-Varina, Garner and Durham. Jobs beyond that radius can usually be served with an added charge for the extended area.
